Hi Everyone and Welcome to my blog!

I'm Emily Henderson, a 23 year old Msc Marketing Student at Ulster University. Part of my Marketing Analytic module allows me to get creative and write a blog, so welcome to Everything I've Learned Being Emily!

I can't wait to delve deep into blogging in my own space. Everything I've Learned Being Emily will be a little bit of everything from lifestyle, fashion, a place for me to share my thoughts or just ramble on as I usually do. I want this to feel like we're just having a chat and I hope you can take something away from some of the things I post whether it be advice (maybe not so good), some fashion inspiration or just a laugh at some of the chaos that goes on in my life!

  Hi Friends! Welcome to my first official blog post! I feel like 2022 was really the year the world got back to a state of normality after Covid. It was finally a year we could do all of our normal things. No restrictions on the distance we could travel away from the house, no worries about the lie you were going to tell the police on why you had left the house 3 times that day and no queuing outside of the bars (most important obvs). Safe to say 2022 was a great year for most people, having that sense of freedom back and there generally being a bit more positivity in the air again.  Anyone who knows me personally knows that a LOT happened for me in 2022. Navigating Life - University and Big Girl Jobs?

  Hi Friends and welcome to another little blog post where I'm going to offload everything about my life on to you! In 2022 I learned so much about every aspect of myself and my life and I feel like I have so much to say especially when it comes to university and jobs and talking to Eduarda about life over pancakes today really made me think that this would be something good to write about on my blog.  I feel like university and careers is something I could spend hours talking about to people but not in a boring careers advisor way (I hope that's how I don't come across anyways) but just that I have so much to say when I think about my university journey, jobs i've been in and why I decided to go back and study a masters in something that was completely different to my undergrad.  I have always said that in school I felt there was so much pressure that you follow the one specific path of, doing GCSE's, doing A-Levels, getting into university and getting a job and th...
